You may have had a breast removed either because you have been diagnosed with breast cancer or have one or more breast cancer risk factors involved. Breast reconstruction is a type of surgery for women whom helps create a breast shape for women who have had all or part of a breast removed.

It’s normal to feel anxious, uncertain and sad on losing a breast, giving up a part of your body which defines your femininity and is a significant part of your sexuality. The surgery rebuilds and is able to restore a breast near to normal shape to match the size and shape of the other breast. Using grafting and other specialized techniques, we can create a nipple and areola too.

Most women who have had a breast removed (mastectomy) decide to go for reconstruction. Some women diagnosed with early stage breast cancer choose to have that breast and the other healthy breast removed. With breast reconstruction constructive technique, you can have a healthy breast instead of living with the dread of losing a breast.
